Shadow Chat: Sizing Up the Cosmic Elephant

Welcome to the first installment of SHADOW CHAT, one of several new features we're rolling out here, on the SHADOW POKERS blog. SHADOW CHAT lets you read, comment, and be part of one of the many conversations that happen behind-the-scenes between our members here at SHADOW HQ.

Craig: Ryan Skinner just dropped this bomb (edit: via the Skinwalker Ranch Facebook group):

Just learned a bombshell piece of information that you will likely hear about at some future point in the new york times. Apparently the metals recovered are completely made of known earth alloys, however what is interesting is its design on a molecular level is arranged in such a complex way that NOTHING we have at this level of technological advancement is even remotely capable of replicating.... the implication was that is was "man made"....just not by any current tech process. You fill in the blanks.

Don Noble: So time travel. Or inter-dimensional sh**. Coool.

Don: Pre-history perhaps. Or whatever comes here scouting uses materials at hand.

Plus, the same minerals and sh** that exist here are fairly common throughout the universe.

Oi. Just tell us already. I just woke up.

Kevin Candela: In space, you could easily fabricate whatever you want. Raw metals available in floating debris.

Don: My suspicions is that it's inter-dimensional.

Don: Why travel vast differences when we may find that reality is like a TV, with lots of channels all sharing the space on different wavelengths.

Kevin: ^^^ That's what it's about, I think--frequencies. We're tuning forks. We resonate. And some of us resonate just enough off the main frequency to see stuff like ghosts, etc. Plus you can shift off that main frequency with things like a few wet ounces of mushrooms.

Don: Yeah, the moments I had of Entity Contact on fungus were clouded in this concept. That ghosts may not be spirits of dead folks but glimpses of alternate space-time/dimensions. We use words like spirit or alien because our language and understanding is still limited.

Don: The feeling for me was this quasi-understanding of the dream-like structure on the back end of reality, the fuzzy math, the same kinda stuff we use in video games- that code also exists in a way in the quantum world. Logical steps in the creation of reality - as above so below.

Don: The same kinda sh** we use in a video game when something is "off screen" and not being viewed is essentially the same function of particles that seem to be waves when unviewed but then snap into form once viewed.

Don: It starts getting into that line of thought that reality is holographic or a simulation. As far as we're concerned, our reality is solid and real. You can't just walk through a wall. But... if you began to understand the code you may be able to find cheats and exploit loopholes in the system.

Eventually you can begin to make your own code perhaps and become what we may call a god or wizard.

Don: Or pilot vehicles that do not adhere to the physics code of this particular simulation.

Kevin: The Way Out is Within.

Don: Exactly.

To me we are already in possession of some of the most advanced technology in the known universe - the human form is a space ship of sorts. Our actual self is something dream-like, formless or... sentient code... that pilots the biological machine. A tool.

The body is not us but a vehicle and we may as well be aliens ourselves. Or... players. Bodies as avatars. The same kinda thinking inherent in most religions. We're all experiencing the same thing and trying to make sense of it with different symbols but...

The map is not reality.

Kevin: Something may have created us. It may have made the biosphere. Could be "aliens" or "God" or whatever you want. But to think that because we were created we have inherent limits that leave us shy of our creator(s) is illogical, Captain Kirk. :D

Kevin: "Thou Art God" - Stranger in a Strange Land

Don: "God is the garden, we are seeds in the garden."

"Ye are but little gods."

Don: A self replicating sentient source code that is inherent to reality like light and sound are - nothing is separate -

That whole We Are One vibe.

But down here in the slowly vibrating realms of light and sound that make up physical reality, our consciousness is so wrapped up in the avatar's senses that we become closed off systems. And that may be on purpose. That may be part of the game itself.

Don: I've had some damn weird trips that are so oddly Matrix themed it becomes laughable. Like Whiting Out and waking up in a room where I was taking off my VR gear and laughing my ass off because I just figured out what I actually was. And the "people" running the simulation were yelling at me to "Go back in."

Kevin: Never listen to those blue pill drones.

Kevin: Don, I bet you've seen Altered States. Great flick. I had a non-drug induced dream one morning that was basically the same kind of reptile mind primal reversion that William Hurt experienced in the movie a couple of times. Extremely vivid, even when I woke up.

Don: Except even that itself was another construction because underneath that I could see we were actually just Light. Sentient light, or something beyond light that uses light as a bridge to the slower physical world.

Which is funny because that is some of the leading thought on consciousness studies. That we thought light was being used by neurons but it may be the opposite and light itself is a vehicle for something else.

Kevin: See, that makes sense. Light is energy. We are energy. There really IS no matter.

Don: That We exist across a spectrum. Two places simultaneously. Perhaps even more because Space/places may just be constructs.

Super advanced video games.

Kevin: Ever stare into a mirror until you disappear? I can do it. It's a Rosicrucian mind exercise. Weird to see through yourself.

Don: From what I understand, the same way Bill Hicks tells the joke, that matter is just the slow vibration of light and sound.

A hologram.

Kevin: I took a bunch of physics, even taught it. That's pretty much my understanding of it all too. And since we both dig music and play it, we also know how those vibrations change our own frequencies.

Don: A hologram so powerful you can't walk through it.

Not without cheat codes.

And from what I understand that's how in the last 15 years we've been able to successfully teleport molecules. Through sub space or hyperspace etc. Whatever you wanna call it.

Kevin: Ever see that stuff where they show the difference between water crystals frozen in a hostile chaotic vibration environment vs. the same water frozen in an environment of musical harmony? It's nuts. And we're mostly water.

Kevin: By the way, my brother went to El Paso recently and in a short visit ended up thinking of it as you did having lived there. I'm keeping clear of the place.

Don: Music is vibration and vibration is perhaps "language" and there may be "magic words."

Let there be light. Big Bang.

Some asshole super scientist might have once said.

Kevin: True though.

Don: Yeah I've seen that water shit. It's cooooool.

Kevin: Think of our environments doing that to our minds. All the time. And our bodies for that matter. Turn up the music.

Don: It wont let me do the damn laugh react.

Don: But I try to follow this stuff in a practical/pragmatic way as possible. There's no magic or spirits to me in a sense, no such thing as paranormal.

We just frame it that way because we don't understand it fully. But we're getting much closer.

And that may be part of the reason the government is opening up. Because something may be coming.

The singularity, whatever you wanna call it. All this doubling of tech/info is gonna lead to a new dawn that will change life as we understand it. In ways like even our recent ancestors couldn't understand our current tech (or people in their 80s who just constantly look around like WTF happened?).

Don: The future is already here and it's a wee baby. Trans-humanism is being born. Look at CRISPR.

All this soft disclosure may be the pillow talk that leads to a new baby like Humanity 2.0.

Don: And the forces that have been in control, power structures and institutions, are going to crumble.

And like any birth, it'll be bloody and painful but in the end, a new life. A new flesh.

Some religious folk believe it'll be the work of Satan controlling our souls in exchange for better toys.

Giving up our sovereign souls to become the Borg etc.

The joke may be that we are already the Borg and being human is a game we play.

Don: Evolution as expansion packs and leveling up in an RPG called Life.

Don: The forces in control may be learning this stuff just slightly ahead of us and they're in a mad scramble to try to protect their power structures for as long as possible.

Because the power structures of society is just another type of game and it may be coming to an end. Maybe in our lifetimes even. Regardless, it seems inevitable.

Don: So the joke about us being the Borg is that same spiritual concept of us Being One.

All those old sayings like we are the children of god etc.

Collective consciousness.

Borg, baby. Self may just be another game.

Kevin: I'm mainly wondering if those of us who resist implants, hybridization, mechanization of our own bodies--are we something other than part of the collective? To be honest, I've always kinda felt like I'm not in that consensus collective.
